Guests will be transported in a vehicle suitable for the size of the group. Although care will be taken to minimise distances covered on foot, guests should expect to walk up to a few hundred yards on paved and grass surfaces. Suitable footwear may be required if the grass is damp or wet.

Children are very welcome on tours. They are best suited for children aged 12+ who are accompanied by a responsible adult.

Guests are typically picked up either outside Canterbury West railway station, the Hampton by Hilton hotel in Canterbury or Dover Western Docks, CT17 9DQ and returned at the end of their tour. However if these are not convenient and you would like to start somewhere else, please just ask.

Each tour starting point will be re-confirmed on the day before travel.

As there will be much to see, tours will always begin promptly at the designated time of departure. ‍ If you are unable to attend any booked tour, the conditions stated within 'Terms & Conditions' will apply.

The location of toilet facilities will be identified following arrival at each venue.

Each venue has access for wheelchair users. Please inform Kent and Country Tours at the time of booking of any special requirements.

Public and Private tours via minibus can accommodate a maximum of seven guests. We can offer minibus and coach tours for larger groups of up to a maximum of fifty guests. Please ask for further details through the Enquiries page.

Typically tours take place between 8.30am - 7pm although timings can vary according to guest requirements, the tour chosen and local traffic conditions (where relevant). Guests are returned to their point of departure unless alternative arrangements have been agreed.
