-
Stop at English Heritage’s ‘White Cliffs’ for photos
-
Be driven to Dover Castle where you can explore its early history including the best surviving Roman Lighthouse (the ‘pharos’) in the country from cAD100 and the Anglo-Saxon Church from the 900s.
-
Climb the Castle’s medieval Great Tower to discover the pomp and pageantry of King Henry II’s court in the late 1100s – and where royalty and special guests were entertained, fed and slept.
